Cherie Chung is an undergraduate student in Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service (class of 2016), majoring in International Economics. On campus she is a research assistant for the Georgetown Institute of Consumer Research, teaching assistant for the Economics Department, and has been involved with the Beeck Center for Social Impact & Innovation, Compass Fellowship, and StartupHoyas. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she has traveled to Korea, Taiwan, and South Africa and will be spending the spring 2015 semester in Pune, India with the Alliance for Global Education. She looks forward to taking classes on development economics, conducting research, and traveling during her time abroad.
