Kelsey Brown graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in 2016 with a major in international politics and a concentration in international security. From Naperville, Illinois, for the fall 2014 semester she studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from mid-July to mid-December. She lived in a homestay, studied Portuguese, took international relations classes in Portuguese, and blogged for the Junior Year Abroad Network.
