2015 Doyle Symposium: It is Not Enough to Refrain from Injustice

April 10, 2015
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. EDT
Location: Healy Hall Riggs Library Map

In response to President John J. DeGioia’s message on “Citizenship in a Just Society,” the Doyle Engaging Difference Program called on students to propose “concrete projects through which, together, we can build for the common good.” This “Call for Ideas” garnered a significant student response. The 2015 Doyle Symposium gave voice to these students whose creativity and serious ideas merit our attention and engagement.

Event attendees gathered for a conversation that built on the work of past symposia and engaged the winning submissions in a dialogue around diversity and difference on campus.

This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship.
