Learning, Equity, Access, and Pedagogy Initiative

The Doyle Engaging Difference Program is proud to partner with the Learning, Equity, Access, and Pedagogy (LEAP) Initiative to promote inclusive, equitable, and accountable academic environments at Georgetown University. LEAP, led by the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, works with academic units across the university to examine how they engage difference and strengthen the inclusivity of their approach to curriculum, pedagogy, and student engagement.

By participating in LEAP, each unit works toward the goal of building and sustaining inclusive learning experiences for their students with support from CNDLS. This opportunity is available for all academic units across the university.

Focusing on a department-led approach to fostering inclusive and accountable academic environments, LEAP recognizes that impactful change is most effective when embraced collectively. LEAP engages entire departments in meaningful conversations about curriculum, pedagogy, and student engagement, tailoring its approach to the unique challenges and goals of each department.

This collaboration aligns with the Doyle Engaging Difference Program’s mission to prepare Georgetown University students and faculty to address cultural, religious, and other forms of difference.

Together, Doyle and LEAP encourage meaningful dialogue and collaboration within departments to create transformative, inclusive learning experiences.
