Profile

Daniella Arevalo (C’25) is a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences double-majoring in linguistics and English. Originally from San Francisco, California, she studied abroad at University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the spring 2024 Doyle Global Dialogue cohort. Daniella is passionate about approaching language from multiple perspectives, and as such, was excited to learn about Ireland’s rich literature and the Irish language while she studied abroad in Dublin. At Georgetown, she works as a tutor at the Writing Center and a research assistant at the Georgetown Early Learning Project, a psychology lab investigating infant social and cognitive development. In the fall of 2023, she served as a research assistant to a Ph.D. dissertation on multilingual romantic couples. In the future, Daniella hopes to continue research that allows her to combine her interest in language from literary and linguistic perspectives while making a positive impact in communities.
