Hyguette Irakoze Umuhoza (SFS’24) is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University in Qatar, focusing on international economics. She is from Rwanda, best known as the “heart of Africa” or the “land of a 1,000 hills.” Growing up in a diverse country, she appreciates the uniqueness of different cultures and was excited to learn about new cultures as part of the fall 2021 cohort of the Doyle Global Dialogue program.
