The Doyle Engaging Difference Program - Georgetown University

John Matuszewski (SFS’25) is in the School of Foreign Service and studies science, technology, and international affairs, with a minor in biology. He likes the outdoors, learning new things, and movies. He is in the GUerilla Improv and the beekeeping section of the Georgetown Renewable Energy and Environmental Network. As part of the spring 2024 Doyle Global Dialogue cohort, he studied abroad at the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia. During the fall 2023 semester, he studied in Panama with the School for International Training on a program focused on tropical ecology, marine ecosystems, and biodiversity conservation. He hoped that by completing the Doyle Global Dialogue program, he could learn more about himself and his new environment in Sydney, as well as encourage other Georgetown students to study abroad.
