Judith Heumann is an international disability rights activist and author of Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist (with Kristen Joiner). Heumann was featured in Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution (2020), an award-winning documentary film directed by James LeBrecht and Nicole Newnham and produced by Higher Ground Production. From 2017 to 2019, she served as a senior fellow at the Ford Foundation, and previously served in the Obama and Clinton administrations.
