Profile
Mackenzie Holian (C'26, G'27) is a dual-degree student at Georgetown University on a pre-law track, currently completing her undergraduate studies in justice and peace studies with a minor in psychology while simultaneously pursuing a master’s degree in communication, culture, and technology. Her work focuses on how systemic inequality, political behavior, and legal institutions shape public discourse, access to justice, and decision-making in high-stakes environments. Her graduate studies have allowed her to further explore digital media, leadership, and conflict prevention. At the Berkley Center she is a graduate fellow supporting the Doyle Engaging Difference Program; she previously received training in dialogue facilitation as a member of the inaugural spring 2025 Doyle Dialogue Fellows cohort. Through research with the Community Research Group, policy work at the Death Penalty Information Center, and legislative and communications experience in the Office of Congressman Seth Moulton, Mackenzie has developed a strong foundation in qualitative research, policy analysis, and strategic communication.
