Rachel Rochford (SFS'27) is an undergraduate student in the School of Foreign Service. She is majoring in international politics with a concentration in international security studies. Rachel is also pursuing a minor in justice and peace studies and a certificate in diplomatic studies. On campus, Rachel works to create a positive dialogical environment for first-year students as a coordinator of the Leadership & Beyond Pre-Orientation Program, Cornerstone Mentor, and ESCAPE Leader. She also conducts research at the intersection of peace and security as a Laidlaw Scholar and as an Undergraduate Research Scholar. Off campus, Rachel has interned for the American Security Project, the National War College, the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, the International Trade Administration, and other organizations, seeking to better understand how governmental and non-governmental actors contribute to global peace and security. She is a member of the 2026 Doyle Dialogue Fellows cohort.
